There are a lot of great tools out there for nonprofits. But today, we’ll look at three free tools to help nonprofits communicate, raise funds, and look good along the way.
MailChimp
For Marketing and Communication
For sleek and streamlined communication, we recommend nonprofits check out MailChimp. They have a freemium model, so you can start using the tool for free and you won’t have to pay until you are using it much more.
MailChimp lets you send beautiful emails, create landing pages and even websites, schedule automated emails, and much more. Using MailChimp to step up your communication and marketing is an easy way to stay in touch with supporters and the community your nonprofit serves.
Give Lively
Fundraising / Campaigns & Donation Pages
Give Lively is a dynamic, free tool for nonprofits to help with fundraising. The platform supports both short-term, specific campaigns as well as a general donation page. It’s easy to embed this tool into your nonprofit’s website to make donations seamless. Give Lively also supports text-to-give and ties in with Stripe to make setup and payment processing easy.
Canva
Design; Looking Good and Messaging
If your nonprofit isn’t already using Canva, start now. Canva makes creating any design easy. You can use it to design PowerPoint Slides, brochures, business cards, social graphics … really anything.
In Canva, you begin with templates that already look modern and customize from there. There are a ton of features all for free! Plus, nonprofits can apply for a free Canva Pro account, giving you access to even more top designs, photos, fonts, and more.
