Press Release: TechBridge GA Continues to Build Its C-Level Leadership Team

ATLANTA, GA – TechBridge, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty through the innovative use of technology, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Manish Misri to Chief Technology Officer and Karen Cramer to Chief Community Impact Officer.  Manish Misri and Karen Cramer have been integral members of the TechBridge leadership team and play an important role in the company’s desire to broaden its reach and nonprofit impact through its products and services.  

Manish Misri leads a global team of architects, developers, designers, and quality assurance analysts to design, build, and operate TechBridge’s custom development and technology platforms.  These solutions are aligned to TechBridge’s four pillars of focus – alleviating hunger, eradicating homelessness, fighting legal injustice and connecting underserved and under skilled individuals to jobs in tech.  Manish has overseen, from a technology standpoint, the successful delivery of hundreds of nonprofit transformations, including but not limited to the recent deployment of a VolunteerHUB & Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack integration for Atlanta Mission and Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, and the creation of Operation Hope’s HopeInHand mobile app, which recreated the nonprofit’s financial literacy and coaching services into a digitized experience.

Manish has also spent the last 13 years as the lead architect for TechBridge’s supply chain management hunger relief platforms deployed to customers like Feeding America.  TechBridge’s back end technology work for Feeding America aids in the movement of millions of pounds of food every year.  Our DonorExpress™ platform allows large corporations to donate their distressed goods to Feeding America.  Our ChoiceSystem™ is an online food auction that transports the corporate donations into the warehouses of 200 food banks.   Our AgengyExpress™ platform facilitates the distribution of food from those food banks to the food bank’s network of 60,000 food agencies.  Source Link

Manish Misri joined TechBridge five years ago with the acquisition of a Dallas based technology nonprofit called Aidmatrix.  Manish was with Aidmatrix for eight years prior to the acquisition.  Manish earned a master of science in Information Technology from the University of North Texas and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.

Karen Cramer leads TechBridge’s community impact strategy geared towards TechBridge’s four pillars of hunger relief, homeless support, legal justice, and workforce development.   Karen joined TechBridge to focus on the organization’s vision of poverty alleviation through collective action: encouraging nonprofits to share data and coordinate services so that communities have a better understanding of the combination of programs and services that lead to predictable pathways out of poverty.

Karen founded and led TechBridge’s data strategy practice. Our Performance Measurement Consulting team develops an organization’s theory of change and logic models and then ensures that nonprofits have the technology needed to collect, report, and analyze their data. When data collection and reporting become more efficient, nonprofits are freed up to innovate their programming based on data learnings.  TechBridge is partnering with United Way of Greater Nashville to move families out of homelessness and with Goodwill of North Georgia and the State of Georgia to help Supplemental Nutrition Assistant Program (SNAP) recipients connect with job training programs, childcare, and transportation in order to obtain living wage jobs.

Karen has been at TechBridge for the last four years. Prior to joining TechBridge, Karen co-founded Helping Mamas, the baby supply bank for Georgia. Helping Mamas was the winner of United Way Atlanta’s inaugural spark prize in 2015. Karen has over 20 years of nonprofit experience with expertise in program evaluation and data management.  Karen is a proud social worker having earned her master of science in social work from the University of Texas at Austin and her bachelor’s in social work from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
