TechBridge is a nonprofit that arms other nonprofits on the frontline of alleviating the causes of poverty with technology that will allow them to expand the impact of their mission for the millions of men, women and children who suffer from lack of access to shelter, food, employment, education, healthcare, and financial literacy.

We are recruiting for a world-class Certified Training Specialist, a passionate technical skills instructor who creates a meaningful learning experience in which participants are taught how to apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems in technology.

In additional to delivering technical skills training, you will prepare participants to jumpstart their career in the growing field of technology.  We are looking for teachers who encourage student-centered learning experiences, guide students to the right conclusions, help them answer complex questions, and redirect their misconceptions.

Key responsibilities include:

Instruction (50%)

  • Work closely with one or more co-instructors to guide students through a rigorous, transformational journey in technology.
  • Lead classes and mentor students as you learn from certified partners and our world-class instructional coaches.
  • Inspire and support students as they identify their passions and connect learning beyond the curriculum.
  • Facilitate a safe, supportive, and energetic community that welcomes the various needs and learning styles of your students.
  • Utilize activities that allow learners to contribute to the discussion at appropriate intervals.
  • Use instructional media such as graphic displays and handouts to enrich and engage students.
  • Understand and employ effective verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Utilize group dynamics and group facilitation to establish a learner-centered environment.
  • Establish an environment free of bias and criticism, promoting participation of all learners.
  • Monitor learner progress during training and assess performance at the close of instruction.

Curriculum Development and Planning (30%)

  • Adapt your market-driven curriculum and use it to guide your teaching, building your own lesson plans as needed
  • Review organizational needs and student backgrounds to plan course curriculum and objectives.
  • Select and implement the appropriate teaching methods for classroom and virtual courses.
  • Plan office hours to support students outside of class schedule

Meetings, Student Events, and Preparation (20%)

  • Support TCP at career fairs, organization fairs, and special events.
  • Attends weekly status call meetings to share program/student updates

Qualifications: 

  • 4-year university degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to earn required certifications prior to class start if currently holding another industry -recognized certification.
  • Ability to teach virtually and in person with flexible working schedule (day, evening and some Saturdays)
  • Microsoft Office knowledge including, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

We are recruiting for a world-class Project Manager who manages the lifecycle of nonprofit technology initiatives from outreach, sales, service delivery, project initiation/delivery, project close out, and customer relationship management. This role serves as a trusted data and technology advisor to TechBridge nonprofits and collaboratives and recommends effective solutions that enable the organization and collaboratives to achieve their goals. It also reviews, analyzes, and evaluates environments and user needs, documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates solutions to parallel overall organization and collaborative strategies.

Responsible for successful projects that are on time and on budget, with customer satisfaction and ROI, and metrics gathering related to the projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Service Delivery and Strategic Consulting (50%)

  • Establish project goals, scope, and delivery schedule
  • Coordinate implementation of the project
  • Ensure that project deliverable adheres to established timeline and budget
  • Lead consulting and technology implementation projects for clients
  • Consult with nonprofit and collaborative customers on data and management, strategic technology planning and business processes
  • Develop consulting work templates including roadmaps, software comparisons, systems diagrams, business process flows, client journey maps, etc.
  • Develop project management work templates including project plans, timelines, testing documentation and burn reports
  • Ensure that nonprofit data collection is conducted: IT surveys, operational readiness, nonprofit client demographic information, mission metrics, project success metrics pre and anticipated-post project

Project Design and Business Analysis (50%)

  • Collect and formally document nonprofit and collaborative’s high level and detailed requirements
  • Document and own nonprofit/collaborative’s high level and/or detailed requirements for projects
  • Own synchronization of tasks and allocate time in project resource management software (Cloud Coach)
  • Assess current capabilities, challenges, needs, and opportunities for improvement
  • Produce written strategic documents, process maps, and roadmap deliverables
  • Communicate business requirements effectively with the engineering team
  • Create process flows and workflows to capture all the requirements of a project

Qualifications: 

  • Four-year university degree and at least 5 years related work experience
  • Experience with deployment of process-supporting software
  • Experience with nonprofits
  • Experience with nonprofit program evaluation and development

Core Skills include:

  • Problem solving.  Must be able to facilitate shared understanding of the business problem, range of answers, determine scope of solution.
  • Responsive Communication. Facilitate meetings, provide direction, ask good questions, listen to the answers, document findings and follow up items. Operates with a sense of urgency.
  • Critical thinking. While problem-solving, can identify the core need or problem to be solved, which is often different than the problem stated.
  • Understanding of how software is used to solve nonprofit business issues. Understand how software supports business process.
  • Position will require the ability to consider multiple ideas and work well with others in an effort to determine the best solution.
  • Self-managing. Position will require self-direction to manage a portfolio of project and customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships
  • Ability to articulate and communicate with influence.
  • Able to manage and define ambiguity.
  • Strong written and presentation skills; ability to have a highly technical conversation with IT teams as well as simplify complex topics to non-technical audiences
  • Organization and time management. Ability to manage multiple projects timelines and meeting schedules.

The Community Impact team at TechBridge is looking for a Hunger Relief Leader with a broad range of skills and experiences working with food banks and their partner agencies. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with supply chain for hunger technology and extensive experience as a technology product manager. The leader will possess strong relationship management skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and strong customer success values. We are looking for a talented professional who is passionate about social impact and believes in our mission to create predictive pathways out of poverty through our hunger pillar. As a critical member of the sales team, the hunger relief leader will prospect, develop leads, and close new opportunities.

Our constituents consist primarily of hunger relief nonprofits, foundations, and community collaboratives. The hunger relief leader is an active thought leader and business development strategist who serves as product owner for TechBridge’s supply chain for hunger platforms. The ideal candidate leads with integrity and transparency, enjoys collaborating on idea development and implementation, and can effectively use outcome based decision-making.

We’re looking for an energetic, friendly, and positive individual with a sincere passion for hunger relief and nonprofit outreach to join our team. This individual should have strong listening and communication skills, as well as the ability to learn new concepts quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet hunger relief vertical revenue generation annual goals. Manage complete sales cycle (lead generation, opportunities, proposals, RFP responses, Statement of Work development).
  • Provide thought leadership to the hunger relief sector through authoring white papers, leading webinars, and speaking as a panelist at conferences.
  • Provide outreach services to hunger relief and food security nonprofits, foundations and collaboratives that can benefit from TechBridge products and services.
  • Product owner for TechBridge’s supply chain for hunger offerings including Donor Express, Choice, Agency Express, Virtual Food Drive, FreshConnectx, and Inventory Management System.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven ability to plan and set priorities that promote an organizational vision and mission in hunger relief.
  • Sound strategic-thinking and a proven ability to develop workable strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad and diverse range of people.
  • Knowledge of current technologies and issues concerning food banks and food related agencies.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines and projects.
