We are recruiting for a world-class Certified Training Specialist, a passionate technical skills instructor who creates a meaningful learning experience in which participants are taught how to apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems in technology.

In additional to delivering technical skills training, you will prepare participants to jumpstart their career in the growing field of technology.  We are looking for teachers who encourage student-centered learning experiences, guide students to the right conclusions, help them answer complex questions, and redirect their misconceptions.

Key responsibilities include:

Instruction (50%)

  • Work closely with one or more co-instructors to guide students through a rigorous, transformational journey in technology.
  • Lead classes and mentor students as you learn from certified partners and our world-class instructional coaches.
  • Inspire and support students as they identify their passions and connect learning beyond the curriculum.
  • Facilitate a safe, supportive, and energetic community that welcomes the various needs and learning styles of your students.
  • Utilize activities that allow learners to contribute to the discussion at appropriate intervals.
  • Use instructional media such as graphic displays and handouts to enrich and engage students.
  • Understand and employ effective verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Utilize group dynamics and group facilitation to establish a learner-centered environment.
  • Establish an environment free of bias and criticism, promoting participation of all learners.
  • Monitor learner progress during training and assess performance at the close of instruction.

Curriculum Development and Planning (30%)

  • Adapt your market-driven curriculum and use it to guide your teaching, building your own lesson plans as needed
  • Review organizational needs and student backgrounds to plan course curriculum and objectives.
  • Select and implement the appropriate teaching methods for classroom and virtual courses.
  • Plan office hours to support students outside of class schedule

Meetings, Student Events, and Preparation (20%)

  • Support TCP at career fairs, organization fairs, and special events.
  • Attends weekly status call meetings to share program/student updates

Qualifications: 

  • 4-year university degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to earn required certifications prior to class start if currently holding another industry -recognized certification.
  • Ability to teach virtually and in person with flexible working schedule (day, evening and some Saturdays)
  • Microsoft Office knowledge including, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

TechBridge is searching for a Chief of Staff to support and report to our CEO, working in daily partnership with her. The Chief of Staff will have an immediate impact by helping the CEO lead TechBridge efficiently and effectively, focusing on her highest-level business priorities. This role demands a seasoned business professional capable of balancing strategic thinking, planning, project and process management, operations, and execution with exceptional communications capabilities and judgment.

As Chief of Staff, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities and opportunities.   You will immediately focus on strategic planning, working with the TechBridge executive team to identify, vet and implement key strategies for FY21. You will be responsible for tracking the progress against TechBridge’s FY21 strategic plan and all strategic plans thereafter.   Specifically, you will develop balanced scorecards and quarterly customer impact reports.  You will implement new board governance practices across all TechBridge communities (there are three at this time) and you will work with Board Chairs and Vice-Chairs to establish community specific dashboards.   You will play an integral role in shepherding TechBridge’s strategies through its evolution and ambitious community impact goals.

It’s important to emphasize that the successful candidate will have proven experience in strategic planning and project and process management, with prior experience working with c-level executive teams.   Successful performance in this role will lead to a promotion to Chief Operating Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

Direct Support of CEO (25%)

  • Work with leaders to set strategic priorities: Help identify areas where leaders should direct their focus as well as metrics for success. Revisit metrics regularly and evaluate progress against them.
  • Strategically manage CEO’s time. Working with executive assistant, the chief of staff evaluates requests for CEO’s time and assess their fit against priorities.
  • Act as gatekeepers: Ensure the CEOs’ involvement in project or decision-making processes takes place at key times, where their input and authority are most needed.
  • Prepare for and follow up on meetings: Prepare CEO for upcoming meetings by ensuring they have all the information necessary to be productive and engaged.
  • Manage internal and external communications.  As a partner to the CEO, the chief of staff often drafts company communications, reports, pitch decks, speeches, and presentations on their behalf.

Program Management and Organizational Efficacy (25%)

  • Oversee large, often cross-functional, organization-wide projects or initiatives; bring together important stakeholders and help drive decisions.
  • Research, perform benchmarking, analyze data, and make recommendations.
  • Propose the creation of new systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Help drive and improve our management communications, meeting processes, business data analysis and project management methodologies. Play a central role in ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of the executive team and their cadence.
  • Work with subject matter experts within TechBridge to prepare content, presentations and follow up — to be used by the CEO throughout her key engagements. Ensure she is prepared and equipped in advance with relevant analyses and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the CMO & staff Content Manager to ensure the CEO communications program achieves and maintains a high standard of effectiveness, both in terms of strategy and regular implementation.
  • Work with TechBridge leaders to prepare for quarterly business reviews, board and staff meetings. Help ensure an effective and efficient method for the CEO’s involvement with company operating reviews.
  • Partner and lead workstreams with external parties, key clients, board members and customers
  • Lead the completion of major grants and fundraising initiatives, as requested.

Strategic Plan Alignment (20%)

  • Lead annual strategic planning process for the company by acting as a project manager and ensuring alignment with the CEO and leadership team.
  • Help determine key performance indicators and update dashboards as needed.

Meeting and Event Preparation (15%)

  • Coordinate agendas for CEO approval before leadership team and board meetings.
  • Organize company retreats, conferences, and other special events.
  • Attend key events with the CEO as needed both internally and externally and oversee completion of related commitments and action items.
  • Serve as the CEO’s representative/spokesperson at internal and external meetings when appropriate

Board Governance (15%)

  • Oversee rollout of new board governance tools
  • Organize and manage board data across all communities
  • Provide regular reports on the “state of the boards”

Qualifications: Master degree or equivalent educational qualification and 10 years of related work experience. Prior experience working with C-level executives. Technologically savvy with strong relationship building skills.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead Generation (40%)

  • Responsible for generating nonprofit, foundation, and collaborative leads by utilizing resources; such as, GuideStar, nonprofit member associations, nonprofits attending conferences, nonprofits participating in collaboratives, etc.
  • Understanding and reporting on lead gen efforts
  • Suggest actions for performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • When appropriate, represents TechBridge through attendance at conferences and community events (Atlanta Regional Collaborative on Health Improvement, Corporate Volunteer Council, Transform Westside Summits, United Way events and conferences, workforce development conferences and events, Regional Commission on Homelessness, House ATL, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities within current customer base
  • Campaign management: creates various email campaign lists to nonprofits. Tracks lead gen efforts across campaigns in Salesforce (MailChimp), Conferences and TechBridge events, recording lead-generation activity and metrics to report on ROI of TechBridge efforts;
  • Responsible for the data integrity of collaborative and nonprofit accounts and contacts in Salesforce.

Sales Process (50%)

  • Responds to nonprofits who download TechBridge white papers, who complete TechBridge’s operational readiness survey, and nonprofits referred to TechBridge through channel partners (TechSoup, etc.)
  • Schedules meetings and phone calls between nonprofits, foundations, and collaboratives and TechBridge’s community impact team
  • Educates nonprofits and collaboratives aligned with TechBridge mission on TechBridge’s service offerings to improve their ability to operate efficiently and effectively as a nonprofit.
  • Identifies nonprofit and collaborative opportunities to benefit from TechBridge products + services.
  • Set discovery call agendas, document customer findings, request documentation from customer pertaining to their inquiries, document all pain points and identifies potential solutions.
  • Solicit Operational Readiness survey; providing information regarding their level on the operational readiness scale and the projects they can undertake to move from progress, to sustain, to grow, and to innovate.
  • Follows up with customers in a timely manner via telephone or email following initial contact.
  • Manage the opportunity, solicit appropriate TB staff to scope and price products + services offered by TechBridge
  • Collecting all required collateral, scheduling, maintaining contact with customer and handling concerns or requests from customer or TB staff
  • Coordinates with Consulting and Engineering to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the nonprofit’s needs; manage the process of presenting to the customer: confirm details with TB staff and customer and schedule review call as needed
  • Records customer interactions using Salesforce.
  • Develop proposals and Statements of Work to prospective customers: writing, presenting, editing, owning signature collection, and completing all necessary recordkeeping
  • Schedules and completes internal customer hand-off meetings, attends customer kickoff meetings when necessary

Administration and Account Management (10%)

  • Attending internal meetings (weekly sync up meetings with manager, weekly community impact meetings with engineering and consulting, monthly all hands meeting, monthly learning with donuts, etc.)
  • Completing expense reports & time entry
  • Focus on continued improvement – both through self-education and by recommending ways that TechBridge can better serve nonprofits.
  • Managing a portfolio of customers, acting as a primary point of contact to handle individual needs as they complete project roadmaps and ascend up the operational readiness scale
  • Own recordkeeping in Salesforce for customer interactions, contact and organization changes, and future opportunity management
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a community impact/outreach role. Strong communication, relationship building, and presentation skills.

TechBridge seeks an experienced leader with nonprofit technology project experience who will support our project teams as a trusted data and technology advisor to TechBridge nonprofits and collaboratives. The ability to review, analyze, and evaluate department efficiencies, and work cross-functionally to develop overall organizational efficiency to grow and scale is critical.

Key responsibilities include:

Management of Service Delivery and Strategic Consulting (50%)

  • Directly manage FT and PT consulting team and contractors
  • Hold team meetings to ensure team is up to date, highly engaged, and motivated
  • Hold 1:1’s with each team member to ensure they are managing with success on project deliverables
  • Lead team to develop project goals, scope, and delivery schedule through implementation of the project
  • Monitor projects across team to ensure delivered on time and on budget, with customer satisfaction and ROI.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in leading teams that manage complex projects / programs; advanced degree and/or PMP designation desirable. A minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience with the deployment of process-supporting software. Agile, Six Sigma or similar training is preferred.

Core Skills include:

We are recruiting for a world-class Manager of Philanthropy in Alabama.

The Manager of Philanthropy serves as regional leadership for TechBridge’s funding development, assisting the Vice President of Development and Director of Philanthropy in increasing revenue in line with the strategic goals. The Manager will manage the sponsorship/revenue generation activities in the Alabama regional market, including the Digital Event Series, Tee IT Up, Dream Big, Recurring Individual Giving, Community CxO Alliance, Technology Career Program (TCP), and pursuit of all Foundation-related funding.  The role has a continued focus on maintaining and growing existing revenue efforts and stewardship of relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

Fundraising Targets (30%)

  • Develop and carry out fundraising strategies by identifying and contacting potential donors.
  • Responsible for a defined annual revenue target for corporate sponsorships, individual giving, and foundations/grants.

Prospecting and Grants Management (20%)

  • Responsible for identifying and coordinating with grant writer and VP of Development to apply for grants that provide operating funds for programming in Alabama

Relationship Development (15%)

  • Spend time building key relationships with local nonprofit leaders, board members, executive ambassadors, and business executives in the local community.

Key responsibilities include: 

Events Management (40%)

TechBridge has 20+ events throughout the year (currently events are virtual). This person will plan and execute these events with the assistance of the marketing team, other TechBridge stakeholders and volunteers. Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events
  • Outline events scope, breaking it down to actionable components and managing those tasks in Asana
  • Maintain event plans, schedules, budgets and expenditures
  • Organize, attend, and participate in meetings to document actions and decisions
  • Manage event vendors
  • Manage event volunteers
  • Manage event logistics

Project Management for Marketing Team (40%)

The TechBridge marketing team supports the main brand and many other departments that have specific marketing needs. The person in this role will help to manage the projects for the different departments. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns for TechBridge
  • Organize, attend, and participate in meetings with department leads that need marketing support and documents actions and decisions
  • Manages Asana (our project management tool) to be sure things are being completed and delivered on-time by marketing team members

Direct Marketing Support (20%)

The person in this role will help to manage the marketing team as well as become a part of that team, offering support on campaigns and initiatives.

  • Work in Canva, MailChimp, GiveSmart, Social Accounts, Salesforce, and other platforms as needed
  • Help plan and execute marketing campaigns across the organization

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Events or Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in marketing preferred

Project Managers are responsible for successful projects that are on time and on budget, with customer satisfaction and ROI, and metrics gathering related to the projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Service Delivery and Strategic Consulting (55%)

  • Establish project goals, scope, and delivery schedule
  • Coordinate implementation of the project
  • Ensure that project deliverable adheres to established timeline and budget
  • Lead consulting and technology implementation projects for clients
  • Consult with nonprofit and collaborative customers on data and management, strategic technology planning and business processes

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in managing complex projects / programs; advanced degree and/or PMP and/or scrum product owner designation desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience with the deployment of process-supporting software. Agile, Six Sigma or similar training is preferred.

  • Responsive Communication. Facilitate meetings, provide direction, ask good questions, listen to the answers, document findings and follow up items. Operates with a sense of urgency.

  • Understanding of how software is used to solve nonprofit business issues. Understand how software supports business process.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships

  • Strong written and presentation skills; ability to have a highly technical conversation with IT teams as well as simplify complex topics to non-technical audiences
  • Organization and time management. Ability to manage multiple projects timelines and meeting schedules.

We are adding to our team! TechBridge is recruiting for an experienced Salesforce Architect. Specifically, we are seeking a professional who has engaged across all levels of Salesforce.com (with preference for Salesforce.org/Nonprofit Success Pack/client and program management) consulting projects. Your skill set will demonstrate your ability to:

  • oversee the outreach and delivery process of salesforce.com projects,
  • gather and document existing and future state client business processes,
  • gather and consult with clients on solution requirements,
  • design solutions including object model, security, reports, and custom APEX requirements,
  • implement solutions, and
  • provide support for both client facing and internal projects.
  • understand of Salesforce data architecture in standard and custom objects.
  • develop Salesforce flows, process builders, and workflows.
  • understand object oriented and loose coupling concepts in applications and proper database normalization for relational/object databases.
  • utilize data configuration migration tools to deploy configurations between Salesforce environments in a granular fashion.
  • understand API integration and data mapping between remote cloud-based systems.
