THE ASPIRE MOVEMENT
“Often times, people define poverty as simply the lack of … the lack of resources, the lack of material goods. You talk to any person who has been caught up in systemic poverty, it is in many ways not having advocates, having no voice, feeling helpless. That’s the great thing about TechBridge, they share a similar focus with us in poverty alleviation. Providing us with the tools and resources necessary to do hands-on work in impoverished communities.”
– JASON WILLIAMS
Founder & Executive Director,
The Aspire Movement
Working with The Aspire Movement, TechBridge implemented a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for data tracking and created a mobile app allowing mentors to monitor activities performed by and time spent with mentees. The app also allows for logging feedback from clients and evaluation of their experiences.
IMPACT: At the beginning of the project, Aspire had 140 Mentors delivering paper assessment reports daily to the office for manual entry into spreadsheets for tracking data. Now over 250 Mentors enter assessment reports into a mobile device that uploads data directly into a database eliminating the need for a trip to the office and paper reports.
TechBridge’s Mission is to Use Technology to Break the Cycle of Poverty
With your support, we enable nonprofits to get the tools they need to gain insight,
collaborate on services, and provide access to opportunity for the people they serve.
