TechBridge serves a broad range of nonprofits with an emphasis on those with a presence in the state of Georgia that apply for consideration and that meet the following fiscal/administrative and mission-related criteria:
Fiscal/Administrative Criteria
Within the categories of services offered, TechBridge works with clients that:
- Are qualified, 501 (c) 3 charitable organizations (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service), other than churches or organizations whose primary mission is to promote a religion; private schools, colleges or universities; nonprofit hospitals or cooperative hospital service organizations; governmental units;
- Private foundations whose primary mission is to fund 501 (c) 3 charitable organizations as described above;
- Have an annual operating budget in the current or most recent fiscal year greater than $25,000;
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility, the appropriate use of funds and proper accounting standards;
- Are inclusive and embrace diversity; do not discriminate in whom they serve or whom they employee on any basis including ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.
Categories of Support
TechBridge considers applications from organizations that meet the above criteria and whose service programs fall into one or more of the following categories:
- Nurturing children and youth;
- Strengthening families;
- Increasing self sufficiency;
- Arts and culture;
- Preserving the environment and preventing cruelty to animals;
- Encouraging citizen involvement;
- Promoting health and preventing disease;
- Bridging the digital divide;
- Meeting basic needs;
