Atlanta, GA. January 16, 2008 – Nominations are now being accepted for the first annual TechBridge/TechLINKS Community Builder Award. Nomination forms are available at http://www.techlinks.net/communitybuilderaward or e-mail community@techlinks.net for a digital copy. Nomination forms must be completed by February 5, 2008.
The TechBridge/TechLINKS Community Builder award will recognize CIOs who personally encourage and participate in civic / non-profit groups as positive role models. The award will also recognize leaders who support doing business with local companies to help the continued growth of the Georgia economy.
Nominees Must Meet the Following Requirements:

Must be a CIO or equivalent
•
Must be in their position as of January 1, 2007
•
All community contributions must be in Georgia
•
Contribution & participation with: Non-profit / Social Services / Arts
•
Contribution to infrastructure of Georgia’s technology community: Policies/guidelines support local IT industry growth
•
Organization must have a minimum of 500 employees
The TechBridge/TechLINKS Community Builder Award will be presented on May 10th, 2008 at the TechBridge Digital Ball which will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center.
