

TechBridge Announces Technology Innovation Award Call for Entries due February 10th, 2006
...Recognizing Nonprofits Innovative Use of Techology
"Technology can be a great enabler of both economic growth and social development," said Craig Ramsey, Managing Director of Accenture’s Atlanta office. "Accenture partners with its clients to bring technology innovation into the corporate and government sectors every day, so it makes perfect sense for us to encourage and recognize innovation in the nonprofit community through supporting this award."
The winner will receive $25,000 in Microsoft software, $15,000 in TechBridge technology consulting services and $5,000 in cash. In addition, two finalists will each receive $10,000 in Microsoft software, $5,000 in TechBridge consulting services and $1,000 in cash. The three finalists will be announced on April 14th and the winner will be announced May 6th at the 2006 Digital Ball, TechBridge’s annual fundraising gala.
The judging panel comprises CIOs/CTOs, CEOs and other senior-level executives from the corporate and nonprofit community. Previous winners include Hemophilia of Georgia (2005), Project Open Hand (2004), Atlanta Community ToolBank (2003) and Atlanta Community Food Bank (2002).
