TechBridge Launches New Website for HealthSTAT

Atlanta – September 17, 2009. Atlanta-based TechBridge, a nonprofit dedicated to helping other nonprofits use technology to increase capacity to serve our community, is proud to announce the launch of HealthSTAT’s new website at www.healthstatgeorgia.org.

Health Students Taking Action Together, Inc. (HealthSTAT) is a nonprofit, member organization run by health professional students in Georgia, engaging students in service, education, and advocacy. HeathSTAT’s site was developed by TechBridge using Drupal, an open source content management platform.

“As a student-run nonprofit, we knew we didn't have the time to build a website from the ground-up. As volunteers, we also knew we didn't have the money to cover expensive, technical consultants. Thanks to TechBridge's nonprofit services, we were able to launch a high-function, sleek, modern website that has already excited our members and increased our presence within our community,” says Michelle Putnam, Executive Director at HealthSTAT.

TechBridge provides a range of technology services to web-enable business processes for nonprofit organizations – at affordable rates and leveraging the expertise of technology-skilled volunteers from the corporate IT community.
