Donate Used Wireless Handheld Devices

Solve the challenge of what to do with outdated devices while benefiting TechBridge, our community, and the environment at the same time.

TechBridge is proud to announce a partnership with TGA, Inc., an Atlanta-based telecom consulting firm, to recycle wireless handheld devices. All proceeds benefit TechBridge.

How does the program work?

1.	Company collects devices and mail them using prepaid mailing labels
2.	TGA removes corporate/personal data and reconditions, resells, and/or recycles the devices
3.	Company receives an inventory report of devices donated, including model and associated value, and a donation acknowledgement
4.	TechBridge receives a check for the proceeds

All at no cost to you.

Security - All data is removed with an advanced multi-point check on each device before recycling

Environment - Non-functional devices are dismantled and recycled based on Environmental Protection Agency standards. TGA has a “zero landfill” policy for equipment and accessories.

Our Community – Proceeds benefit TechBridge, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping other nonprofits use technology to better serve our community. All donors are gratefully recognized by TechBridge.

What devices are accepted?

Any handheld wireless devices including but not limited to cell phones, Blackberry, Treo etc. All makes, models and carriers accepted – any condition.

How can you get your company involved?

Conduct an e-drive to collect devices or channel your outdated corporate devices through TechBridge and make this a company-wide program. Getting started is free and simple. Email recycling@techbridge.org or contact Carrie Bates at 404.879.5404.

How can I donate my personal devices?

Follow these instructions to generate a free mailing label:

1.	Click here and select 'Get Pre-Paid Shipping Label' button. When completing the form, BE SURE to select 'TechBridge' in the Location drop-down box.
2.	Package your devices, affix the mailing label and drop at your nearest Fedex point
