2011 Digital Ball – Record Response!

Identified by many as Atlanta's 'Technology Event to Attend', the 2011 TechBridge Digital Ball will be held on Saturday May 7 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and co-chaired by Maryann Goebel, CIO Fiserv and Dave Barnes, CIO UPS. This signature gala draws the who's who from Atlanta's technology and business communities and celebrates their spirit of philanthropy.
 
The Ball is on track to sell out earlier than ever before – sponsorships are already more than 60% sold out.

Changes on the TechBridge Board

TechBridge is proud to welcome to its Board of Directors: Ray Benedick, VP IT, The Home Depot; Aaron deSouza, Partner, Grant Thornton LLP; and Frank Fuerst, CEO, B2B Technologies. 

TechBridge is also proud to announce that James Franklin, Vice President of Professional Services, Omnilink has succeeded Cindy Tierney, CIO, Beazer Homes as the Chair of the TechBridge Board.

Technology Education Series

TechBridge is pleased to announce the conclusion of its successful 2010 Technology Education Series, sponsored by The Home Depot and Motorola. The TechEd Series provides affordable, high-quality educational seminars and a forum for peer-support to encourage nonprofits to integrate technology into their business. 

The three seminars in 2010 provided education to 120+ individuals from 90+ nonprofits on subjects including: social media; mobile devices and applications; and cloud computing.  Many thanks to seminar sponsors Savvis and Smartsoft Mobile Solutions, Inc.

Random Hacks of Kindness

Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) is all about using technology to make the world a better place by building a community of innovation. RHoK brings software engineers together with disaster relief experts to identify critical global challenges, and develop software to respond to them. On December 4-5, 2010 RHoK is hosting its third hackathon – a global gathering of hackers in many locations around the world, coming together in real time for a marathon codejam weekend - coding around problems relating to natural disaster risk and response.
